We have all been busy this holiday season and I am no exception.

My card sales didn't do to well this year and I'm not happy with it. Several of us were wondering if it was the economy? Maybe! I got the same old response as every year....."Oh there very cute!" Sometimes you just want to jump the table and shake them and ask them why they wont buy one. haha Though you know you can't, you still wish!

Here's a few little dudad's for you. They sold nicely on the gift card holders but not on the cards. One only knows what people are looking for and what will make them buy. Oh there are two different ones to download, so make you you get both!

So please us these as much as you like. Maybe you might have better luck than I did! haha

I HAVE WON AGAIN!

Not sure how I keep doing this, but I have won again. This time it was a wreath challenge. You either needed snow or a banner. So I did both.

Well we made it. Another holiday about to be over.

I really feel sorry to all the children that cant Trick O' Treat because of all the snow and lost power they have. I think that one will go in the record books. You know they said that a Nor'easter has not hit this part since the Civil war.

So what about my Scary House? I bet you can do something nice with it. Maybe sending a card to your friends. :)

Well surgery didnt go. There was some complications and Im going to have to try it again after the holidays. :( You know, it's hard to get worked up for surgery and them do a boo boo. Oh well. Keep up my attitude for it to be tried again. :)

How about a Nutty Pumpkin to go with the bat? Someone mentioned that they look like they had to much candy! lol I do believe the have.

I still have one more file for you guys that I will try to add on Monday, Halloween.

Are you really going "batty?" Some days I wonder! lol I know my good girlfriend is. She has 3 teenagers and lucky to have hair. Next year will be worse! They will all be in high school together! OMG! If I lived closer, I think I could save her more! lol

This is one of the last files I have of Halloween for you. This bat I did is really cute, but then again I think he needs yellow eyes. Since I dont scrapbook anymore, I tend to use the same paper for cutting.

Like I said, I have one more file for you but here's the problem. I am having surgery on Thursday. Nothing huge, just an out patient. I am hoping to give the last file as your Halloween gift, but if I am late, please understand. :)

Did you get something from your Sweetie?!?! I did. Flowers and many, many little Milky Way bars which are my favorite. I made this card and I bought him 2 of his favorite candy bars too.

I am seeing that many of you can not find my files. Go by the name of the file and it is ALWAYS under my name. This file is called "Love my Sweetie." Click on those words and it should take you to a website called 4Share. Click to download and you have to wait 20 seconds or so....sorry, Im cheap and this version is free! :)

Oh I must let you know that this file fits a 6.5"x5" card.

Remember most of my files are some one elses that I traced so please DO NOT sell them. There is that little thing called a "Copy write Law" and I dont want to get slammed nor do you. If you want to change the colors or you like the item reversed, go right ahead, but it doesnt mean that they are now yours and you can sell them.

Have you gone to scrapbook shows and seen all those people create a full page spread with Disney? Well they can get their butts in BIG trouble. I have heard that these companies have "spy's" that go to different states and sue you for EVERYTHING. So please watch what you do.

For some odd reason we are have a VERY warm weather spert, which I LOVE! This is not our Indian Summer so that makes it even better.

Another craft show tomorrow. This is the place that took care of me last year when my hip cracked and I could not move. I told my hubby, Mike, that I WILL I will always pick them first!

OMG where has the time gone? This Summer, as always, has flown by and it's not fair. I mean if you are lucky to live in one of those warmer states, which I do notm you dont know how lucky you are!!! Plus no one has been willing to adopt me. You know I come with my own craft supplies, that I am willing to share! lol

As we all know, I am not in the best of health and I am now on a Kemo drug for my rheumatoid arthritis. I guess you can swap drugs for different problems. My hair has not come out but for a week after my head kills and I fell like I am getting a head cold. I guess I can handle a week when I feel good for the next 4 months then I feel like I am going down hill and I start to hurt.

So I have been working on files for you like mad, I just need to cut them. They are mostly for Christmas and Im working on a Halloween or two. Im just trying to make several, cut at once to make it easier for me. See I am almost booked solid with craft shows from October 1st until December 10th. So if I can cut all at once, posting them will be no sweat. :)

So just hang in there and I'll be joining a Card Blog Hop that I would love for you all to look at. This is happening in the next month or so. There are tons of people who have joined and all you have to do is look at our cards and get some ideas. I hope to see you there.

Finally I got this bunny done. I am so busy creating Mother's Day cards for my first show.

Now there are very small pieces, like the eyes, that you might want to either enlarge the bunny or maybe you might have a white gel pen.

MTC friends, I tried and tried to import this file into the MTC software and thats where I got upset. If there is someone out there that does save it as a MTC piece, please send it to me so I can add it. :)

Something new for me......

As some of you may know, I am having a show on April 30th and I am creating cards like mad. I am also trying another "challenge" so I can win some stuff. Hey, times are tough and we have to do what we have to do. :) Her challenges are every week so you never know what I might post. :)

I picked this girl, who is in a Halloween costume, because I thought she was jumpy and full of life. You had to use a WILD apron for inspiration and add some flowers that I punched out and curled. Oh the girl is colored from me. I have a stack of images I color on the main level of my house while I watch my soap. haha I just love to color, always have. :)

OK, I must go and create more. Keep your fingers crossed, I see two have been turned in already and they are GOOD!!!!.

Something New.............

So many new things have been happening......

For X-mas, I bought a Cricut Expression. I know, I know but I am not using the cartridges. I have 2 that came with the machine and I bought one only because I won some money, $30, for a card competition. I don't really like the card. You know, you had to use the paper they gave you and had limits. Trust me.....I'm not sending it.

Anywho, my hubby calls her Big Yeller. Im not to fond of the flowers but I'll live. So I am using this software called Make the Cut http://www.make-the-cut.com/. I have been playing around with it and let me tell you it welds like a snap. You don't have to trace!!!! YEAH! The software is so easy to use, compared to the Craft Robo software that I pulled my hair out on. lol

So this is my first attempt to share a file. I have 2 PDF's because it would not let me "combine" the two. If you can help me combine, please do. It is in MTC, Funtime and GSD form also. They are all in one zipped file. This helps me here on my blog.

I hope I will be able to create and share in all file forms, If not, I will let you know.

Winter is in full swing so I thought you would like something cold.

This is a frame that I made into the card. I see that I need more color because the frame and card is white. So I decided to take my blue ink pad and go around all the edges of the card. To save money, I did not include plastic or acetate to the frame. I'm sure if you were only going to do one of these it might be nice to save the photo. So you should be able to use a standard 4"x6" photo but don't quote me. You might need to trim it. I also added 2 layers of foam tape to "raise" up the piece. Make sure you don't put the tape on the top. haha I had to tell my self several times not to do that! :)

Sorry to my Funtime friends. I tried.....I really did but I can not get it to work. It just would not vector right and it was just a pain. If some one can do it for me, please send it along. Again, I will give you full credit.

Final Installment of holiday Town

This is the last of the Holiday Town creation. This time things went so fast as I converted it in to WPC's. What?! Something finally went my way! lol

Again, my Robo is not cutting and my hubby thinks he might have an idea. I am working off of a laptop but he is wondering if he hooks up my old computer with Windows XP, things might work. This way I would only create on my old computer. It's worth a shot! :)

I also bought a Cricut Express but Im not sure Im going to keep it. I have not opened the box so there will be no problems. I dont know if I have buyers remorse or what but I feel I am more advanced than just pressing a button and the thing cuts a shape. There is a software, I can buy for $60, that will make you do all my Robo does but I dont think I can share the files with you. I am still looking into it. :)

EEEEEEEEEEEEErrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Can you tell I am still having problems! We are now on to a NEW, yes NEW, problem. Well really 2. I found out why, in Funtime, that it's only cutting 1/2 way through the paper. Thank you for all your help everyone. Now I can't get Funtime to cut/print at all. All I get is that the software is "not responding." No matter what I try to cut/print. I'm also having a different Robo machine problem. The darn thing won't shut off by the on/off button. I have to unplug everything. HUN?!?! Any ideas from my friends?!?!

I just read through the comments you posted and I have un-installed the Robo and Funtime software at least 6 times and nothing gets better. So I need ideas that do not include un-installing and installing the softwares. Thanks though.

I also noticed that either no one has cut Home Town or there are no problems cutting. If you did cut the first part with no problem, please leave a comment and let me know. I would like to know I am doing something right!!!!!!!!! lol

Here is part 2 of 4. I have 2 more weeks until the end of the month. I'm wondering if I should do one part a week or send them out to you by X-mas. Let me know.

Again, Im sorry and I just don't know what's happening.

I have had enough!!!

So I tried to cut the file yesterday. When I wanted to cut it in the Robo software it tells me that it is busy and that the printer, cutter, is printing. HUN?!?! So then I tried it in Funtime. It worked but then I had another problem. Even though I had the blade on the deepest setting it cut about 1/2 way through the paper. I was able to cut the black background with my Xacto blade but Im not going to cut every little piece like that. As you can tell I got mad and left it for today.

Now today......the same thing happened!!! WHAT?!?! My Robo software is still saying that a document is still printing, well cutting. Thats a mighty long cut.

I know I have to get this file out and it is the death of me. If I can not fix this dumb machine by the end of the month, I am going to stop doing this. I feel like I am letting you guys down and I am getting fed up. I hope you understand. If you guys are fine with me not cutting the file out, I'll keep going.

So hang in there and I will try too. There are 3 more piceces to this file so come back next week.

OK, still not sure if the darn thing is going to cut yet. My new problem is putting the files into the Funtime software. See I need crisp edges and when I "vector" the image, it make the edges curved. I have asked for Melinda, AKA lovemyzombie, for help/email address. Lets see what I can do from there. If not they might just be Robo files this time. :(

I am here all my friends and i am working on December's files. Your gonna love it. I have never seen it done before, Im sure someone else has thought of it. lol

Anyways, I think I got my machine to work. If not we are just going to have to do what we did in October. No one complained so I guess you were able to cut with no troubles.

I have one more X-mas show to sell cards on which is the 4th of December. Then I should be free to complete my creations for you.

Happy Halloween All!!!!

I hope you all have dressed up in your favorite outfits and are ready to Trick n' Treat. Me, I am in my jammies and I am going as a lazy candy giver! lol How about that one.

I have gotten lots of comments on my pumpkin carving, and story telling, that I have decided to do it again this year. :)

Here we are, just 2 normal pumpkins. Oh wait what are those things sticking out of our heads! Knives? What is she planing on doing to us? Not sure if you can see but while the one is getting knifed, the other one is watching. They tried to talk to each other for comfort. I think I even hear a silly little joke Montgomery said to Harold to easy the pain. "What did one Jack-o-lantern say to the other?" Cut it Out! As you can tell, Harold was not impressed.

After several hours of this going on, I finally finished to what I have been waiting all years for. The bountiful of what Harold and Montgomery gave me......thanks guys!

As you can tell, I have had enough of this machine. I STILL can not get it to cut. The "cut" symbol, in my Robo software, is not highlighted/colored. When the button is highlighted/colored I can click on it and my machine will cut.

BiBi wrote me, last post, telling me Im missing the "control" file that helped be a bit but it's still not working. Im probably doing it wrong and this is where I need someones help. I un-installed ALL versions of the Robo. Then I re-installed version 1.20 that came with my CC-100-20 machine (blue one) It mentioned nothing about the control file in the manual or how to get this file. What do I do now? I have left it like this waiting for help. Oh I only go up one more version to 2.40. Is this where I get the Control file?

Bibi, or anyone, could you please email me at risaleneecreations@gmail.com if you can help.

Since I can not wait any longer for you to get my files, I am sending them along. I hope they all cut but I can not guarantee 100%. I have added a picture that is in JPEG form from Microsoft Print. Hope you can get some idea on how these files look. I can not get the Haunted House file in Funtime (WPC) form either. It did not vectorized it correctly. This means I could not clean it up. If someone else fixes it, please send it along so I can add it to the file.

As you can see, nothing is working over here in Michigan! lol Me or my machine.

I am here! About 3 weeks ago I got very sick from my rheumatoid arthritis. Something happened in my left hip and the bone cracked/popped. After blood work, X-rays and even an MRI, they found no break or fracture. The pain was so bad that I was antsy and could not get comfortable. I had to use crutches to walk around it and my hubby had to take days off so he could dress and bathe me. What would I have done with out him?

I had time to create. All I was doing was sleeping and sitting. Now that I am feeling better, I came to the craft area to cut and then post but wouldn't you know the dumb Robo isn't cutting. In my software there are symbols that you click on and the "cut" icon is grey not colored like I need it to be. My computer handy man, my hubby, told me to try and fix it. I have tried and asked what to do with no luck. So now we must wait. What I am thinking is just giving you all 3 files at one time.

So for now I have nothing to give. :( I am very sorry. Hopefully I can get the darn machine working again......just in time for X-mas. lol

My computer blew up! Well it didn't actually. I don't know what happened to it. Mike and I have a back -up service and they do not have all my my files. I had several GSD's done and they are gone. So Halloween might be slow this year. :( Plus I am busy making X-mas cards for my shows.

I thought I would share some of my creations with you. I am also going to be joining a blog hop in the next few weeks so I would like to get some in. :)

It's going to be a record setting weather day today and i am hoping to get some work done with all the windows open.....before man and dog stink kick in!!!!! lol

Summer is almost gone. There is only a few weekends left and I ask again.......Who wants to adopt a 38 year old woman? lol Remember you MUST live where the weather is warm all year long. Sorry Florida friends.....your "No-See-Um's" see me!! :)

Here's a little something I did for Curves. My friend had a normal size poster board and got some water and sand paper from Michael's or JoAnn's. The sand paper was an island and the water, well was the water!!! lol She put the inner tubes around in the water. It's really cute.

Last Week!

So I forgot! lol I guess my last file is better last than never and technically it's still July!!! haha

Another year's over another July. Soon I will be complaining about the snow and how I hate it. For now I will just keep wearing oranges and yellows making my little tan look better. :)

Thanks for sharing my July with me. I have another file coming up that has to do with Summer and another file I am working on all by my self. I mean no tracing. Well there's some, but it's all my original idea. I know you will love it!!!!!

Week 4

Morning all!

Hope your July is treating you well. This Summer is sooooo much better than last. We are warm this year though we are getting more storms than normal. Sever weather is happening almost every week. There has been 3 tornado's very close to my house. I mean 10 minutes away these cities are. Tonight through Saturday we are scheduled to get more bad weather.

This weeks free file is Snowy the Snowflake. He is very cute but DON"T pick my colors of paper. Im not happy with the flake it's self. I should have made him white with the dark blue background like I have. There's nothing I can do now. The glue has stuck! lol

I hope your enjoying Christmas in July. If you have any ideas for December, let me know.

Week 3

What about an ornament? Adding a couple of snowflakes and don't forget the sediment and you have yourself a card. Not sure if you can tell by the picture but I glued the ornament normally with my liquid glue. Then I put two layers of foam tap under the snowflakes. To top it all off, I added little tiny rhinestones on the snowflakes and of course Merry Christmas which are stickers.

Just to let you know Funtime software only liked one of the three snowflakes. So instead of having three different ones, you only have one. :( If you have some snowflakes, of your own, you may place them in there instead of mine!

How are we all doing today? It's hotter than heck here and the humidity/dew point is killing us. It has been getting to 90 degrees before noon! I guess it is time to think of Christmas to cool us down. lol

I made this stamp into a card and I use foam tape to raise it up. I also used some "shimmer" paper because the red stamp is kinda bland. Then used scrap green paper, with design, behind the stamp and shimmer. I though it needed so design because the other colors were solid. I plan to use the reindeer for another card...hey why not! :)

Merry Christmas in July!!!!!!

For my followers you know I get crazy around this time. I love Christmas!! Soon I will be creating my Christmas cards for the 3 shows I have lined up so far. I can start adding them for you to get ideas for your cards. Every file I created this year, I am making a card out of. I hope they sell.

This is week one. Again, same as last year, I thought there was only 4 weeks, typical month, but I found out there were 5. So now I have to make another file when I thought I was done. lol Just my luck!

I found this clip art when a friend asked me to make Christmas lights. I thought this was different. Kinda old fashioned or Thomas Edison looking. Maybe you might have some "old time" paper that you could add.

I used my typical 5"x6.5" pre-made cards. I needed something to look like a cord. I found some ribbon which is black. I can't find the size but it's that small stuff that comes in a spool for about .33 cents on sale. I didn't have a dark green but that might look better. Here in America, the cords are green. I used the small, brass, one to keep the ribbon in place and two it just kinda looks neat. lol

One thing I need to warn you is they cut funny! Two or three would cut good out of five. So be careful and cut several. :)

Same Dog....New Idea

I have a craft table that is a mess. I am trying to create cards with the things left on my desk. I came across this dog and I have maybe 8 more of him. So I decided to play with him and this is what I did.

I glued the dog pieces and flipped him over. Then cut a 1/2" green strip as long as your card. I have these sliders from JoAnn Fabric's that are made of thick card stock that you see I used. Glue it to the dog.

Here the dog is flipped so you can see what he looks like. Make sure he slides before you glue it to your card.

Now I like the liquid glue but I dont think it will hold the green strip. So I do have double sided tape for special occasions. As you can see he is now on the card. This card is 5" high by 6.5" wide. They are pre-made, from Michael's, in a pack with envelops.

This is the final piece. I cut a 1 1/2" piece of different color green paper/strip. Cut slits in it so it looks like grass and bend, not crease, the grass so it looks ruffled. Since he is looking up, add anything you want to the sky. I used a sun rubber stamp and I used my Surka, clear, Stardust Gelly Roll to give the sun a sparkle. Then I rubber stamped, on a spare piece of paper, the bee and I colored it. Then I and attached it with 2 layers of foam tape to give depth.

I am attaching the original file from May 8th, 2009. There is text that says I Love You which you can use or not.

These words are welded together but the 2010 is separated so you can use the text on other years.

In the picture, I cut the text with black paper and I colored it with my silver Sharpie. The "celebrate" part was done with my Cuttle Bug and sanded down so you can see the text.

Happy Birthday ME!!!!!!

This is me on my 1st birthday! You gotta love the 70's kitchen we had! lol

Yup today's the big day. Number 38! Remember when you were a kid and you looked forward to the presents and the cake.... Well now I'm getting to the age where I look forward to menopause and I think I might be getting there!!! lol YEAH I am sweating like there is no tomorrow and people, of the streets and Curves, have been asking. Heck my dentist is even asking. I guess dry mouth is a sign. Of course my mouth is dry! My head took all the water and let it out! lol

Well as promised I finished my card and I'm sending it on to you. What I was thinking, and did, is put some acetate on the back of the card. Then I want to put "puffy paint", w/ glitter, to make it look like snow. So why would the windows open but the "glass" stays?! I guess you could call it a little Boo Boo. :) What I might do, for the next cuts, is NOT cut the window to open. I wanted to let you know my idea encase you liked it and I will let you "alter" my file. If you don't like the snow idea, then just leave the window like it is. Your choice.

I need to tell you about the Farmers Market. My first day was last Tuesday, May 4th, and boy did I do good! It was a windy day so I really could not display anything. But about an hour in I decided to put one of my holders out and put my Mother's Day cards out. I sold them ALL!! WOW. We paid $110 dollars for the 10'x10' spot and I made $38 dollars on Tuesday. I made $13 on the "unofficial" opening at the Senior Center. So I have mad $51 dollars so far and this market goes until October. Pretty cool! I need to make some Father's Day cards. I still have a few weeks for that.

I got excepted to work st the Farmers Market in downtown Ypsilanti. Im so excited. Last Tuesday was the kick off at the Senior Center. I didn't take pictures but I thought you might like to see some Mother's Day cards I have been doing.

I have also made these for other types of cards too. The blue one is made of letters I cut with the Robo. The dark blue strip I used these cool border punches from Fiskas. The butterflies are stickers from Hallmark and the flowers are made by Flora Doodles. The orange one has a yellow strip that I embossed through my Cuttle Bug adding glitter glue to the flowers. Flowers come in a cute bottle from Prima. Don't forget the brads.

Both are made with the same text die cut with the Robo. The pink one has flowers that I got from the Novi Mega Meet years ago but the BIG yellow one I got from Hobby Lobby. They are huge plastic confetti! The big brads would have secured it on the paper but those little flowers shimmer. Now for the little girl. I stamp them on white cardstock and color them while I get my IV drip or up on the coffee table.

I did others too but I thought you would like to see the neat ones with tutorials. :)

I know this seems far off but I am working on card that has a window where you can see the rubber stamped image through it. I have this X-mas tree and kids in jammies that I thought I could color and it would be so cute. As soon as I cut this card I will send it along.

WOW am I happy that February is over!!!! Now I know I live no where near the East Coast but I too got slammed with snow. You know they NEVER talk about Michigan on the non local news. This place is so bad that they don't even want to talk about it.

Anywho this means that Summer is knocking on the door. Yes when you have 4 seasons this is what you do! :)

This weekend I have been doing something called an E-crop. I cropped with gals from all over. Heck I don't even know where 1/2 of them are from. So there are challenges and prizes. The prizes look like books. If I win, I bet I will win one of those stupid "how to" books for your Cricut. I don't even own one. What the heck am I going to do? Maybe I'll give it to the gal down the street.

So this was one of my challenges. Creat a card using buttons. So this is what I did. Do you like? So I whipped up a gumball machine really quick and I thought you might like it. You could use buttons or just punch out circles for the gumballs.

Now I still am NOT using Roland but I tried a program with Microsoft Paint and Vectoring to make the WPC file. Please let me know if the WPC DOES NOT work. Im dying to know.

Where have I been?

Alright, I've been gone, lost, out of it.....what ever you would like to call it. :) I have been busy creating cards and just plain living. I am on Facebook and I have been finding friends I have not seen since I was 12 and younger.

I have created a Valentines GSD for you. Now I say GSD because Santa bought me a laptop with Windows 7 64bit and nobody knows how to convert GSD's into WPC's like we did before. :( What am I going to do? If anybody has ANY idea, I would love to hear it. I used to use Roland to convert and now Roland is not compatible with Windows 7 64bit. :( Very sad news.

So I am very sad and sorry to all of you that used my WPC files. Hopefully we will find a way....soon.

Friends,

I have some news that I MUST send on to you. Now this is really not like me but this just boiled my bottom and I think you need to be aware.

During August of 2009 a dear friend of mine, Julie, wanted to purchase some digi scraps for a son, Connor, she just had. He is the first child for her and her husband and boy were they proud. I have even became an Aunt. Well there is no relation but I am known as "Aunt Lisa from Over the Pond". Remember I live in Michigan and she, Julie, lives in England.

Julie asked Robyn, from Scrapper Girl Design, http://scrappergirldesigns.com/blog/ to create some "boy" patterns. Robyn agreed and over $52.00 dollars was sent to her. What Robyn sent to Julie was very girlie and Julie was not happy. I don't blame her. When your a baby, you really need boy/girl embellishments. To make a long story short, Robyn stopped ALL contact with Julie and kept the money. That's not right. I would try to make one happy and I would feel bad that you didn't like my creations.

On happier news......Julie, from Pretty Scrappy, http://prettyscrappy.com/xcart/home.php and Valerie from Valerie N Design http://valeriendesigns.blogspot.com/ saved the day when they didn't have too. They created some beautiful pages for Julie and they did it for free. What a kind heart they have! I would like to say thank you to you both!

First I would like to wish you all a safe and happy holiday. I hope Santa brings you all that you wish for.

For my last file of the year I thought I would do something different. How about a tag? I saw this done by someone, sorry I do not know who, and I thought it was gorgeous. Mine is no where near her excellence, but I tried. :) Please do not go by the picture. lol When I put the tag together I noticed it was reversed and now that I look at it I see I left no hole at the top. OOPS! haha Use a cute punch. I have a small heart that would look good. See where it is blank on the left side? I tried to cut snowflakes but they were just to small. Maybe you could draw some ot use a small punch. I think I might have laser stickers that would look good. :)

So I hope you like my first attempt at these tags. I was wondering if I made several of these to sell would you buy them? How many do you think I should place in a bag and for how much? I would really like your import. Please email me or leave a comment.

Let it Snow..........

Hi ya all,

As we get closer to X-mas I am wondering where the snow is. Now mind you I will complain in a few months to you. haha

Hope you have all your shopping, baking, and wrapping done. I am almost done with the wrapping and I think I might finish on Thursday. I did all the baking over the weekend with no help. I feel like that story "The Little Red Hen.". Do you remember that one? http://www.enchantedlearning.com/stories/fairytale/littleredhen/story/

Any who I know that I have this one as Let it Snow card, but you don't get the card. :( It's just the title. The card I placed it on was 6"x6" so you know the title is very small. Oh I don't know if you all received my note on the Yahoo Groups but DO NOT send 6"x6" cards/envelopes. As of the Summer, the post office raised their rates! They told me that the machines do not recognize this size and they have to be moved by hand. So I paid double of a normal stamp. It's the holidays and I should not care, but I think I will never do that mistake again.

I will see you next week, which is when you get my X-mas present to you. As you can tell, Im very excited. :) So you all be good. Santa is still watching you and he know's you just bought more paper that you didn't need! Oh that's right, that was me!!! hahaha

The History of a Christmas Card

A relatively recent phenomenon, the sending of commercially printed Christmas cards originated in London in 1843.

Previously, people had exchanged handwritten holiday greetings. First in person. Then via post. By 1822, homemade Christmas cards had become the bane of the U.S. postal system. That year, the Superintendent of Mails in Washington, D.C., complained of the need to hire sixteen extra mailmen. Fearful of future bottlenecks, he petitioned Congress to limit the exchange of cards by post, concluding, "I don’t know what we’ll do if it keeps on."

Not only did it keep on, but with the marketing of attractive commercial cards the postal burden worsened. The first Christmas card designed for sale was by London artist John Calcott Horsley.

A respected illustrator of the day, Horsley was commissioned by Sir Henry Cole, a wealthy British businessman, who wanted a card he could proudly send to friends and professional acquaintances to wish them a "merry Christmas."

Sir Henry Cole was a prominent innovator in the 1800s. He modernized the British postal system, managed construction of the Albert Hall, arranged for the Great Exhibition in 1851, and oversaw the inauguration of the Victoria and Albert Museum. Most of all, Cole sought to "beautify life," and in his spare time he ran an art shop on Bond Street, specializing in decorative objects for the home. In the summer of 1843, he commissioned Horsley to design an impressive card for that year’s Christmas.

Horsley produced a triptych. Each of the two side panels depicted a good deed-clothing the naked and feeding the hungry. The centerpiece featured a party of adults and children, with plentiful food and drink (there was severe criticism from the British Temperance Movement).

The first Christmas card’s inscription read: "merry Christmas and a happy New Year to you." "Merry" was then a spiritual word meaning "blessed," as in "merry old England." Of the original one thousand cards printed for Henry Cole, twelve exist today in private collections.

Printed cards soon became the rage in England; then in Germany. But it required an additional thirty years for Americans to take to the idea. In 1875, Boston lithographer Louis Prang, a native of Germany, began publishing cards, and earned the title "father of the American Christmas card."

Prang’s high-quality cards were costly, and they initially featured not such images as the Madonna and Child, a decorated tree, or even Santa Claus, but colored floral arrangements of roses, daisies, gardenias, geraniums, and apple blossoms. Americans took to Christmas cards, but not to Prang’s; he was forced out of business in 1890. It was cheap penny Christmas postcards imported from Germany that remained the vogue until World War 1. By war’s end, America’s modern greeting card industry had been born.

Today more than two billion Christmas cards are exchanged annually, just within the United States. Christmas is the number one card-selling holiday of the year.

Happy Halloween!!

Well we have a few days until. This was my first try of a "Word Book." It's more of a picture book but I really don't know what to call it. :) I think I did a pretty good job and it is really cute. Now you are going to have to add smaller pictures because I am not lucky to have a 12"x12" cutter......yet. lol

As usual, I would LOVE to see your creations with my die cuts but I have not been lucky to see any yet.

Hey all,

I see we are having a problem. Do you remember the Iris Folding I did of a X-mas Tree in July of this year,2009? Well the place that you get the template from is BLOCKED! It says if you go to this website, CircleofCrafters.com, you can damage your computer!!!!! Now I know nothing about computers, haha, but if it says NO, I don't!! lol

What I did is scanned in my template and Im adding it to you here as a JPEG. If it does not turn out big enough for you, let me know and I'll send it personally to your email address.

I added the WPC/GSD file again for you here at the bottom of my name.

We are getting so close to Halloween. Here in America, Halloween is really taking off. I remember when it was really hard to find decorations. Now you can find them anywhere.

I just went to the grocery store and bags of chocolate candy were on sale 2 for $5.00, double the price for England. That's not a sale! What are they thinking? I bought (full size) Air Heads, Blow Pops and a bag of Child's Play. That's a bag of mix-ups like Tootsie Rolls, gum and, Smarties. Which never made you smart! lol

Now there are directions to put this circle together:

1.) Green circle on bottom.
2.) Orange comes next.
3.) Black goes over the Green and Orange so make sure you have it right.
4.) Yellow goes over the black

If there is any questions, let me know. :)

I have one more "special" Halloween for next week. Let's just say it was my first time ever trying and I think you were approve.

Questions Answered.....

I have had a few question about my last creation, Party Time so I will try to answer them. If you need anymore help, feel free to email me.

1.) If you open up the file and you DO NOT see the text, that means you do not have the font installed on your computer. I have tried to add the information on the file but again if you need any help email me. So this file, Party Time, I used a font called RockArt. This font is free too. If I don't have to pay for it, I don't. lol Here is the website I got the font from..... http://www.searchfreefonts.com/free/rockart.htm

2.) I have also been asked "where do I click to get the file." I try to have the file name in a different color and below my name in the goodbyes. If there is no different colors, then the blog software changed it. Again if you need me to send you the file through your email, just send me a note so I know your email address. If you leave a comment, sometimes I can find your email address but not always.

3.) All my files are free and they will always be free. If I use a font and I do not trace it, I will give you the website where the font is ALWAYS free. If you have to pay for a font, I do not own it. I am cheap! I love being cheap. I use coupons and sales to buy food. I am so proud of this that this Summer I bought a normal size Kraft Italian Dressing for 10 cents!!! Normally here in America it would cost $2.00 and some odd cents. For my friends in England, that's about $4.00. I always try to double the amount to get an "average."

So where I was going with this is I get most my files from clip art for free and so I create them for you for free. I will never add a file that is copy write, unless I slip one in, but would I ever do that? I like to tell you guys this once in awhile just to let you know.

I have been gone for ages but I have been busy. I have 3 craft shows coming up and I am trying to get things done. At least my computer was down for a few days and I was able to create some things for you. YES I have 4 new items. So I will be doing them once a week.

First we are going to start with a very lovely 4 year old. Her name is Jolene and you may recognize her from her mothers creations on http://bainsbits.blogspot.com/
Last Sunday was her birthday and I was asked to join. Her party was at Chuckie Cheese and I had a blast. I was really hoping to play some Skee Ball but time have changed and there was only 5 of them and they were really busy with kids. I could have kicked a kid out, but that's just not me. Or is it? haha

I have added a few pictures of her party and what would a party be with out die cuts? For copyright reasons you know I can't do Chuckie Cheese himself so I did a few party cuts. These are so general, that you could even use them for a sleep over.

Well keep checking back for my Halloween cuts. I think you might like them. :)

Someone asked for school things and I thought it was a good idea. Here is something small. I want to do a school house and I have the clip art it's just finding time to do it. lol

I hope you have all had a wonderful Summer and boy is it flying by. It has been quite cool here in Michigan so I have had my windows open, which I love. Now it is August and this is our warmest month and Mother Nature is giving us heat. Of course I will complain in February when the snow is up to my knees. lol

For my last project, I did Iris Folding. Here is the definition:

Iris folding is a technique that originated in Holland. Color coordinated strips of folded paper are taped into place over a pattern, creating a spiralling design that resembles the iris of an eye or camera.

What I did is create a "frame" with the tree in the center. You need this frame so you can tape the paper on to it. Take SCRAP Christmas paper, different sizes, and fold them long ways. They don't have to look pretty.

Take the SHARP edge and line it up with the number and the drawn edge and tape the paper to the frame.

Do this until all numbers are covered.

Now flip over to see your design. Trim the pieces of paper that are bigger than the FRAME edge if needed. Your done.

I am using 5"x6.5" pre made white cards and I glued matching solid color cardstock to the card, then I glue the Iris Folding design to the card. Add finishing touches and you have a beautiful card to give.

Oh No.....Another Boo Boo. Who would have guessed a boo boo from me. lol

So how about this one? Do you believe? I try to but my hubby makes it so hard. Every year is the same thing. Jo Ann's and Michael's gift cards are top on his list. I tried to make him a list a couple of years ago but I don't think he looked at it. lol I do love him though.

Well there is one more week for Christmas in July. What am I going to do next month? I have no clue. If you have one, I would love to hear from you and I will see what I can do.

I thought I would do something different. How about a recipie? This one is from Kraft Foods. http://www.kraftfoods.com/kf/recipes/gingerbread-people-62218.aspx

Prep Time: 20 min

Total Time: 1 hr 32 min

Makes: 20 servings

What you will need:

3/4 cup (1-1/2 sticks) butter, softened

3/4 cup packed brown sugar

1 pkg. (3.4 oz.) JELL-O Butterscotch Instant Pudding

1 egg

2 cups flour

1 tsp. baking soda

1 Tbsp. ground ginger

1-1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon

BEAT butter, sugar, dry pudding mix and egg in large bowl with mixer until well blended. Mix remaining ingredients. Gradually add to pudding mixture, beating well after each addition. Refrigerate 1 hour or until firm.

HEAT oven to 350°F. Roll out dough on lightly floured surface to 1/4-inch-thickness. Cut into gingerbread shapes with 4-inch cookie cutter. Place, 2 inches apart, on greased baking sheets. Use straw to make hole near top of each cutout.

BAKE 10 to 12 min. or until edges are lightly browned. Let stand on baking sheets 3 min. Remove to wire racks; cool completely. Decorate as desired. Insert ribbon through holes to hang cookies on tree.

Christmas Flower

I hated this file! I don't know how else to say it. The size I have now will fit a 5" x 6.5" card so it's quite small. Maybe that's why I cringe just thinking of it. There was supposed to be little yellow circles in the center but I knew they would not cut. So I just got my gold glitter gel pen and added alittle zing. I did try to use my solid yellow gel pen, but yellow and black makes green and it was looking like puke.

To let you know how hard this was for me, I could fit 4 of this size on one cutting page. I created 4 cards and it took me 6 house. Now I took an 1/2 hour for lunch and of course 1 hour for my soap opera, but I am only human. lol I think another problem I had is my nails broke so I trimmed them all down and I just couldn't grab the pieces as well as I wanted.

At least it pretty. I see now I could have done better on the leaves, but it's pretty. :)

To make a long story short, you will have an easier time if you make it bigger, if you use your tweezers, and you don't make 4 at one time. lol

HAPPY JULY 1ST

OK....if you don't know me, I LOVE Christmas! It is the funnest time of the year. Here in Michigan we wish for the snow to fall on Christmas Eve and to wake up in the morning to about 1 foot of snow. The day after, we want all the snow to be gone and our temperatures to be 70 some odd degrees. haha

We, in America, also have this thing called Christmas in July. It is just a silly excuse for the stores to have a sale. Their sales do not have good prices and it's kinda a joke. But anyways a good excuse to make Christmas cuts.

I will try to add one a week but I can not guarantee anything. So sit back and listen to the holiday music I picked while you download the file.

How about another card before July 1st.? See my Mommy's Birthday is July 2nd and I thought since you ALL loved my vest card for Father's Day that you might like another card.

The tan part of this card has the roses cut out of the card it self. What I did was glue a scrap piece of black card stock on the inside, where you write. I guess you are going to have to pick out the best matching colors for you. I also want to tell you that the front of the card is a little longer. Just flip it over and trim. Sorry about that.

As for the Happy Birthday title, those would be rub-on's so you can make the card thank you, sympathy or just because.

My hubby came through but not the night he said he would. He forgot! haha

So how about Father's Day? It is the 21st of this month. Are you late? Do you need a card? Well I whipped up one just for us loving daughters! I am also lucky. My sister will forget and I will be the "better" one. haha I have added several pictures for you to understand what I am getting at.

For you Funtime users, on the main card I have dotted/slash lines so you can fold. If they do not cut, please let me know what to do to change it. I create all my things in Craft Robo software and they do work for that. But what I did is create a line, then I imported the file to the Funtime software. I used the tool bar, on the right side, for the dotten line. Created a line in Funtime and then deleted the original Craft Robo one. Oh by the way I have the deluxe version of Funtime.

Hope you guys like the card and I would love to see your pictures if you made it.

I am hoping my Robo will be up and working. I did re-install the software and it is working. So let's keep our scrapbook pages crossed that the machine will work too. :)

While I was re-arranging things, I came across this. It's a simple flower but if you look at the card I added a rhinestone and I also traced the flower with the glitter pen.

So if things work out the way I want them to, I have this pretty neat corner thing-a-ma-bob. I hope it will cut. But you know the curves are probably two thin or close together to work. If it doesn't work, you get a silly "thank you" title again. lol

I LOVE holidays!!! The best part is that my Curves is not open on Monday! lol As I sit here eating my Whopper from Burger King. I LOVE Whoppers. Extra mayo and onions with no pickles. YUMMY. :) For those of you that don't know what Curves is, it's a work out place just for women. No men who look at you and your size funny and no men who think that they look good. Even though they're fun to look at. lol :)

Today I am giving you a card. Now before I hear it from you guys, I'm going to tell you I made a boo boo. Look at the card's letters. YES I put the "a" on backwards. hahahahahah By the time I noticed it, the glue was set and I used my gel pens. I fell so silly and now I can't used the card. Maybe I can send it to my Mom. You know they always forgive you. lol So what ever you do, don't mess up like I did. haha

Well this is going to be it for awhile. I don't have anything else created, but I am working on new stuff. So Just hang in there and keep checking back.

It's my birthday so I thought I would share a picture with you.

This picture was taken at Chuckie Cheese on May 8Th 1981. I was nine. To my right is my bestest girl friend Beth. You know the one I have been friends with since 1st grade. The other girl, to the left, is Kristy Thomas-Ruffin. She now lives in California and if it wasn't for Facebook, we would not have met up again.

So as promised, my B-day gift to you, here is one of my latest files.

As for my convention yesterday.....it was wonderful. I was late for one class because I thought it started at 2:30pm but it was really 1:30pm. Ops :) I met 4 wonderful gals and we cropped together. Now mind you I go by myself and just start talking to women. I did take pictures with my camera phone before the even started. They are still on my phone so as soon as I can get them off, I'll add them. Hope they turned out good. Oh did I mention I killed my right hand? I pinched my pinkie in my crop luggage and when I was trying to pull out my Xacto knife...yup you guessed it. Sliced my first finger WIDE open. It still hurts!!! Then when I was trying to pull the stupid folding chair closer to the table and I smashed my middle finger nail. Let me tell you I have one ugly hand!!! lol

Well off to finish lunch. Then I have to un-pack from the crop. Hope you all have a good weekend and have a Happy Mothers Day!!!

What to do.........

As you guys know, I like to pull my hair out. Not sure why and let me tell you, it's not pretty. lol

Tomorrow I am going to the Mega Meet here in Michigan. I will be gone all day and I promises you I will add something soon. See I can't add my Mother's Day gift's/card because they look at my site. heehee The next 2 files are not created yet so I have no JPEG to share. :( I was trying to cut my butt off yesterday in files but the machine won. :( So..........now I have to take my Xacto blade and CUT the darn files from the paper. Errrrr I told you the machine won.

On Saturday I am having the 40'Th B-day for my hubby. Yes I will take pictures so you can all see my CLEAN house. lol Sunday I will try to do a bunch of things but I have to re-clean the house. I have an idea.....if you come to my party, you must clean one thing before you go. haha I'm sure there are people that would agree with me. You know my folks got invited to a "help us pack" party because the people were moving. I guess no one showed up. lol

Monday I am having my bones scanned. Some of you know I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and this will look into my bones. I have to be at the hospital at 8am. There put some kind of dye in my and I have to come back at 11am for the X-ray. I'm kinda scared but I'm a big girl and I'll just bring my crafts. Tuesday I have to go to the hospital again for my IV drip. This is at 8am. My poor arms are going to be bruised so bad. :(

OK, so I will do my best to post but if I can't I will be right around the corner.

What Happened?

What happened to Spring? We were chilly here, enough where I could wear jeans and a t-shirt but then all of a sudden we HOT. Don't get me wrong, I'm fine with it. What I really don't like are the storms that come with it. We were already under a thunderstorm warning and they are talking about worse tonight. Eeeeerrrrr. Im not pleased.

So I thought I would do this file if any of you have a cute little one that like playing in the rain. Especially if they have a rain coat on.

Baby Card

This one goes out to my friend, Julie, in England. She is really pregnant! With me living in the states, there is really nothing I can do for her but pray!

I came up with this idea of putting baby items in the letters. They are VERY small but they do cut. I can tell you this because I have a very dull blade. It is the blade that came with my Robo 4 years ago. lol What ever you do, remember to keep the circle in the letter "B." I used a pacifier for the baby item. Make sure you save the baby item cut outs too. You can use them in a shaker box or to decorate the surrounding area.

Sorry these pictures didn't turn out as good as I hoped. Maybe I should have put black paper behind them. Who knows!!! :)

Happy Easter All!

I fell that it is politically correct to wish you a Happy Easter because I wish everyone of you get a BIG chocolate bunny! I wont. My hubby never buys me anything like that. Not saying that I need it, I just would like one.

As for the file....well I was cutting like a mad woman this morning. For some odd reason I'm hating to cut. No idea why. Like I was saying, I have 4 projects I was cutting for and I see I missed part of the bunny's head or ear. As I stare at it more and more, It kinda looks good like that! lol So a boo boo that worked out. :) Do what you want about the piece and as usual please use any color you want.

Today we are pretty warm, but not as warm as I would like. Thought I do have to say that I am VERY lucky that I don't not live in Fargo or in those southern states with the tornado's! I hope all of our creative friends are doing well in these states.

Well this is a card I think I might send to my folks. I owe them money and I send them cards I create. They have been saving them. To be honest, I think they are going to go under my Mom's bed with the elementary art she has kept all these years.

I liked how this bear came out but not the colors I choose. Maybe if I made his belly a tan shade and maybe the center of the flower a different color. Even though it supposed to be a sunflower. I don't know. You can choose. I don't like you guys to alter but picking different colors is a must. No all of you like what I pick. Heck I don't even like what I pick! lol We all have that one color we have TONS of but never seem to use. I have this ICKY shade of blue that comes in every darn pack that I buy from Michael's or JoAnn's. Come on girls you know the color I am speaking of.

Speaking off the topic.....what ever happened to Prince? Purple Rain is on XM Radio right now. I mean Prince, or Symbol, did go a little nuts. Though he will NEVER be a crazy as Michael Jackson. I'm so pissed he became a nut, that I want my $10 bucks back from buying the Thriller album. And yes girls I mean I have the "record." lol Back to Prince, or Symbol, he was a Dirty Birdy! If my Mother ever learned the words to his songs........ I told my neighbor, who is 11 years older that me, that Little Red Corvette was not about a car. hahahaha Classic moment!

What a CRAZY city Detroit is......

Fro you people that don't live here, with in the Detroit Metro Area, your lucky. There is a center, Cobo, or showplace that is in MAJOR need of repair. It's small and falling apart, just like all of Detroit. This is one of Detroit's "jewels." It has the Auto Show and I actually had my college graduation there. So nobody wants to see missing ceiling tiles or bucks on the floor catching rain water. So the surrounding counties want to give money to Detroit, but want to get a percentage of the profits. This idea has been going on for 5 years. But, and yes there is a but, you have to live with in city limits to work in the city or at least City Council has to approve it. At the last minute, City Council vetoed any work on the Cobo Center. They even went as far as vetoing ANYTHING that has to do with Cobo Center. They said they will take the suburbs money but will not give them back anything in return. They will not even call it a loan. Just give us the money and walk away.

Two days ago, the Mayor Vetoed the City Counsil and we are not sure he can do this. So last night, illegal by Detroit's by-laws, City Counsil vetoed the Mayor in a meeting. A meeting that went crazy. The Council members that were there were yelling about how unfair this deal is. After that one member broke out in song. OMG What is wrong with these people? Why did they act so immature? Why do they hate the subburbs as bad as they do? This is just another reason out of towners think Detroit's a joke and I agree.

Alright I have had enough. Where is this global warming that I keep hearing about? I am more than willing to take in a polar bear....only if he's nice and can handle my cooking. lol For those that don't know exactly where I live, I live near Ann Arbor. Home of University of Michigan. I am also 40 minutes, driving 80 on the highway, west of Detroit.

This is just nuts. Every other day the Weather Chanel is blinking, on my bottom right corner, on my computer. If this keeps up I think I am just going to have to stop shaving my legs. You know for warmth!! Yea, that's right.

Angel Part 2

Guys, I want you all to know that I got the angel pattern from a British magazine called Paper Craft. They give you the pattern for free and this magazine features one make/creating cards. Some people got a little scared saying it was copyrighted. It maybe, but Im not sure. They do give you this pattern for free knowing that people will create the image. So what you need to do is not sell your creation. The card I made was given to my folks. I did not sell it. Just be careful. If your not sure about something either don't make it or alter it in a way that makes it different from the original.

I also want to let you all know that MOST of my creations are clip art from the web. Again I got the file for free and I am sending them on to you for free. That's why I don't charge for the files. Use all files, from every one's blogs/websites, at your own risk if you are going to sell.

One more thing. You will NEVER see Disney, Warner Bro's., Care Bears or anything like that here. They ARE copyrighted files and these business will and can come after you! I have heard that they are finding people selling things on Ebay like this. It doesn't matter what country you live in, it doesn't matter that your the "little guy." They jusy want their money, and they WILL sue your pants off!

Just a reminder for my friends. Becareful and don't do something you know/feel is not right!

So what do you think? Now I got the pattern, for the Angel, from a British Magazine called Paper Crafts. She is created on a pre-made 6.5" x 5" white card that comes with an envelope. I created the Angel a bit bigger, like wings and head, so they can be glued from the back. Now there is one thing I MUST tell you. In the photo, here and in the magazine, she has feet but the template did not. I think they forgot and I did not realized it until I had it all cut, enough for 16 cards. So I was looking at my punches and I have this balloon punch that was the perfect size. I guess I should have scanned the back of her to show you. It's pretty funny, but it worked!! Her eyes are black brads that I have. They are the really small ones. Sorry I don't know the size.

I took the side of my ink pads to all shapes. No I have those little teardrop sizes but it was still hard to do her hair. I used silver for her dress. I also used a brick red on the paper with the flowers on it and a brown I had for that brown paper. lol
The punch you see, on the brown paper, is a Martha Stewart punch/ embosser. I got it on clearance for like $3.00. You can't pass that up!! As for the text, I have rub-on's. Now I needed a Thank You but she is to sweet that you can use her for any reason. In the GSD file I have included the card to size if you need it and all the paper came from those Die Cuts With A View packs from your local store.

Well it's snowing like mad here, in Michigan 40 miles from Detroit, and the lazy mail people here have not picked her up today. So she is freezing her little tootsies outside. I guess she will fly her wings on Monday.

I also was checking on how many time you guys have been downloading my recent items and it looks like the Haunted House is the winner! There is 188 downloads. WOW who knew. Don't forget, if you don't add the ghost it could be made for a new house. That would look cute on a card saying welcome.

Finally! 2008 is over. There has been good and bad this year. Bad being that my father is retired from Ford and my Father-In-Law is retired from GM. If they go under, so does their pensions. I hope 2008 brought good for you but will bring better for 2009.

I decided to give you another candle. I know, I know you have one but this one is silly, maybe abstract. It doesn't have to be Christmas, but yet it can. If I made these and placed them on a card, I would add glitter to "spark" up the candle or the flame. Maybe both. Anyways I thought it was different looking.

How many more day till the big guy comes? No I'm not talking about my husband, but I might be talking about yours!!! lol

There are about 2 more weeks of this crazy fun filled month and I have 2 more files to share. Do I give you the better of the 2 or do I save the best for the last week? Then again, the last week of December is boring. The holidays are gone, the snow isn't and we are stuck paying the bills. So how about the best one now? Don't get me wrong, I like both of them but you know one has to win.

I just want to let you all know that I will probably not write on my blog until next week. My family and I would like to wish, you and yours, a Happy Holiday. Im still here. As stated before I wanted to wait until my Mother-In-Laws B-day was close to download her card. I did get the clip art from a Thanksgiving site but I thought since she had a cake in her hands she could be used for B-day too. Something different. I have not yet seen anything done in the Laura Ingals/Holly Hobby theme.

Just to let you know the picture is what her B-day card looks like. I raised the little girl with DOUBLE the foam tape. For some odd reason she looked better with a shadow. Oh the size of the card was 5" x 6.5" so if you just cut the girl out right as I have her in the GSD, that's the size you need/I used.

Where have I been? Well I have another card/craft show and I have been trying to make cards everyday. This will be the last show of the year unless someone around my area knows of any other shows out there. Here is a few I have been making....

Do you guys remember my long time girlfriend Beth? Well today is her B-day, yes on voting day. lol Hey sometimes my B-day is on Mother's Day and this year my Brother-in-Law's B-day was on Easter. At least my B-day is not on Leap Year which would put me 5 or 6. heehee

This is the card I created for her and I'm passing it on to you. I don't think I am going to get as many downloads as I did for my house, 105 as of 1:08pm, but I think it's kinda nice for all ages. You might not be able to see the colors because of my leaf background. If you need the JPEG please e-mail me and I'll send it to you.

So Happy Birthday Beth and may all your wishes come true.....As long as you include me with that cabana boy in the Caribbean wish I, I mean you have.

The Day After......

Who has candy left? I do but the best part is my hubby and I picked out what we wanted and gave what we didn't like first. lol Hey, we paid for it!

I took several pictures so you can see how I decorate. Nothing huge. I have so tired that I just haven't wanted to decorate.
All the kids were nice this year. That's good because some years past the older kids have been mean. They stopped Trick-o-Treating about 7:45pm and it was warm here so I'm shocked they didn't stay out longer. So the dog and I packed up all the decorations and we are waiting for Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday to put up the Christmas lights. It is supposed to be in the 70's here and now's the time! It's tough to want to put up lights when there's 3 feet of snow and it's colder than cold.
