Thank you everybody for all your nice comments. I am going to try and keep up with this blog but there are no guarantees!  haha

I'm going to post one more card I created in 2016. As of Monday I'm going right back into the craft room and start on my 2017's. I have a "stalker", that what I call regulars at my craft shows, that loves turtles! I'm trying to create more and more turtle cards.  :) They'll be cute, just you wait and see.

Until then, have a safe and fun New Year.....Until next year, Lisa

1st Communion

Hello, All,

Today I'm showing you the 1st Communion for girls. I have the boys for another day.

I used an normal open and fold cards for these today. The original card, which I get in a pack of 50 from Michael's, is 6.5" x 5". These cards are very handy!!  I have also cut these cards to 5.5" x 5" to create some for the British cards I see in the magazines.

So I have taken a scrap piece of paper, white perfectibility, and I wrap material around it. This time my material is white Taffeta. The soft silkiness makes this card pop out. I have colored the digi stamp with my colored pencils and I added embellishments, and lace, to the cards

The digi stamps are from Di's Digi Stamps, http://www.disdigistamps.com/communion--religious.html. If you have never visited Di's site, your in for a treat.

Thank you for looking and have a wonderful day....  Lisa

Happy Birthday Wendy

Hey Gang,  Lisa Here!

Its the middle of February and I hope you received a Valentine from that special someone.  :)

Today I am showing you a company that I love. A version of the stamps are called Candi Bean http://www.disdigistamps.com/candibean-stamps.html, which I am showing you today, and Di's digi stamps http://www.disdigistamps.com/.

Di, Diane, is so special that I requested a digi and she drew one for me. You can purchase them too. They are under Communion/Religious for my new Communion cards I am selling.

Here is Wendy's Little Darlings, Little Friends. I bought this cute reddish/orangish paper with these little flowers. Can you believe I colored Wendy in orange and bot is she a match! If you look closely you can see a floral punch I have, it added when something was needed. Ribbon was used for the background and two cute ones on the side. This is a birthday card and I cut the sticker in half and placed them on the side. Don't forget the red bling added too.

Thank you for looking and see you next time.

A new year....

Well the month is almost over and I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season!

A few weeks ago my friend got sick, so I decided to create her a card and this is what I send,

The stamp is from Sylvia Zet, http://sylviazet.blogspot.com/, I used ribbon from the local store. Dont know if you can see it from the picture, but it has some glitter in it. Remember we LOVE glitter. The raspberry paper is glued to a normal 5"x 6.5" card but the front, where the image is, stands up and out. Something different and the buyers seem to like it.

This is the only cards I have photographed this year, and I hope you look forward to more coming soon.
