Christmas....

"Its the night before Christmas ans all through the house......."

I was given this book when I was really young and I just loved it!

I actually found this saying in a rubber stamp. I don't think I used it as much as I should but maybe next year you'll find more cards with that saying.

Today I'm am showing you an oldie but goody. Very simple yet very cute. Tiddly Inks is the colored image and the old fashion looking ribbon just adds that special look.

Today, Christmas Eve, I would like to wish you and yours a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Hugs, :Lisa

Progressive Freebie Challenge September 1st, 2015

Howdy all,

Just another day and another card.  haha

Today I have for you is a lady from the Flower Child Digi Set #4 from http://nicecranedesigns.com/.

When I printed her out she legs and leaves had a black/grey hue to them. That got me thinking.... What I designed the whole card in black and white tones. Now I usually save them for sympathy cards but why not?

Not sure what this card can be used for. Maybe just ton say hello to someone or maybe even a sympathy card but this lady is truly special.

For all of you that  "stalk" me, haha, I'll be at South Lyon middle school next weekend. The 26th and 27th of September. Come on by and say HI!

Until next time....Lisa

Anything With a Sediment.......

Post number two......

I thought you might want to see some a holiday card. You know I do several type of holiday cards for the December holiday season.

Today I am going to show you a Christmas, Christ, card. I love creating these. I even bought several new sediment stamps with Christ being the theme. These digi's are from Digital Stamp Boutique, http://www.digistampboutique.co.uk/catalog/. Go check them out!!! They are very cute.

Until then.... Lisa

Happy September!

Hey guys!

September already. Here in Michigan it means that Summer is over. A very sad day for me.

Not to fret!  haha  I'm trying a new challenge today and the theme is to create a card, or something, that you give to a kid. Which leads me to my card. I kinda placed it in my "boy" section just because of the colors. Looking at it now, I say why can't a girl like these colors too? I know I would.  haha

I think this card is called a Center Step but I really don't remember.  haha  Nice bold colors on the paper, which looks like a kid did the drawing on it. Background colors are all of the bold rainbow, which I think looks pretty good.  :)  Then the image is Fizzy Moon and some balloons, which sorry to say I don't know who created them. All colored with colored pencil.

Tell me what you think and until next time......  Lisa

Music

You know I love to add music to my cards. Most of my cards are made with real music that I burn. This time its something else. I bought a pack of X-mas paper and this card stock was added in that pack. Its all glitter, so you know it got everywhere.  haha  You can barely see the music notes, which makes it classy I think.

Hope you enjoy...

Add your FAVORITE color.....

My favorite color?!?!

Well if you knew me, Its yellow. Not just any yellow, sunshine yellow!

This color fascination happened at birth.  haha Well no one really knows but I can remember back to my 3rd birthday. I was always the "yellow" piece in a game. One time I even hit my sibling when she grabbed it trying to be smart.  haah

I have had two yellow cars. I drink my favorite color, Mt. Dew. I try to only buy yellow flowers in the summer. I even pee yellow, but the best thing is I was born yellow!!!  YUP! I had Jaundice.  hahaha  Not to many people can say they were born their favorite color.

Im supposed to show you a card my favorite color.....Boy there are so many!

I choose a Bugaboo Digi, they do such cute digi's. This pregnant family works wonderful for Baby Shower too.

Be safe this holiday weekend!  Lisa

Twisted Challenge buy adding flowers.....

I hope you never have to have a card like this but we all do sometimes.

Who wouldn't love this little bear to say Get Well Soon? He sure hopes you do.

As you see I used yellow and green together and flowers with yellow and green pearls for that special touch.

Until next challenge... Holiday cards are coming soon...

Coloring Challenge 24th - 30th April

Yes another challenge....But at least you get to see my cards!  haha

Christian cards are a big seller. I can never seem to have to many Christian cards!

This one is different. I took the base of an Easel Card and I put it sideways. Make sure you dont add the top or the work space of the easel.

Pretty simple but it looks good!  :)

Baptism

Baptism....

Where would we be with out our little Angles?

What a happy day for the parents and the God parents. I remember when my Nephew was Baptized and now he's almost 26!  haha

These cards are specially cut so I can take ribbon and kinda sew it around the circle. I was able to find the words in a rubber stamp.... at a garage sale! What a lucky find!!!

If I am correct, boy version is gone but I still have the girl. I'm also creating more but different. Hope you enjoy them too.

Space.... The Final Frontier

Space....The final frontier.

Well at least space makes great "boy" cards, which are SO hard to create. Hope Spock would be proud!

This is a Birthday card where you pull the spaceship out, kinda like a tag. Open the card up and there's the space monsters.... You can't have a space card without them!!!!

Oldie but Goodie

An Oldie but Goodie.

Here's another challenge I am trying.

This one you have to color, with any medium, yourself. No problem there! Lisa loves to color. haha

Tell me what you think. Im not sure if this sold but if it didnt, come by my booths this holiday season.

Until the next challenge.....

Morning all,

Im getting ready for the first show of the year, Lutheran High School in Westland, this Saturday!

http://www.lhwl.lhsa.com/apps/pages/index.jsp?uREC_ID=184596&type=d&pREC_ID=438408

I have also been trying some challenges. This means I turn in my cards, a JPEG file, along with other card creators to see who wins. I see I did last weeks "Anything Goes" challenge.

Now I am trying my hands at another one. This challenge has to have several folds and the wording on the front. That part is easy for me. I always place my wording on the front.  haha  For all of my "stalkers," the card will be up for purchase on Saturday. If no one grabs it, it will be at the Plymouth/Canton show on March 21st.

Hope you like it.....

Tuesday, February 10, 2015

Hey All,

Are you staying warm this season? We're getting cold again. It's so bad, we wake up and its -4 degrees in the city and I live about 40 minutes west from there so I am much colder. Burrrrrr!

Im going to show you a new card I found called Matchstick Card. I tried to find you a tutorial but I couldn't. It's almost like it doesn't exist. Haha

I was able to recreate it and I took a picture of it for you. Its so easy all you have to do it write it down on a piece of paper.

OH!!!  New show update!!!!!!
Im going to be Lutheran High School in Westland MI on March 7th from 9am to 4pm.

This will now be my first show of the season, which I have never done before so I am getting excited! Come on by and say HI.

Until next time,

Wednesday, January 14, 2015

Hello everyone out there. How are we doing?

Today, 1:30pm, we have risen to 11 degrees! Woo Hoo!  Lets pull out the bikinis! Welllllll, maybe not!  haha

A couple weeks ago, I went to a Stamp'in Up class and created a few cards. Here's one...

What do you think? Cute hun? I think so. A little different than what I usually do, but that's OK.

I also took another class where we created three sets of three different cards. Since they were not mine, well they were but designed by another, I didnt want to sell them. So I was wondering what the heck to do with them.

I have come up with this idea. Im gonna give you a hint of what they look like and give them to my top three sellers. What do you think? I think you know who you are and I know one of you reads my blog. I got yelled at by her for not posting.  haha

Here are your hints. One card is missing on purpose, its a surprise!

Thanks for being you and my fans!
Lisa
P.S. Next show is March 21st 2014 @ Plymouth/Canton High School
