Birthday Boy Bat

I love this card! It is a "rocker card" that is 5" in diameter so it rocks back and forth.

As you can tell, I tried to make the card look like a baseball by the stitching but it kinda got away from me.  haha

I went with the Red, White and Blue theme because what is more American than baseball? Plus with these colors, it is a Birthday card for boys and girls, men and women.

I live in Michigan and our Detroit Tigers really stink again this year. At least I saw them win the World Series in 1984.

Maybe next year we can all go to a pro-game of any choice. My fingers are crossed.  :)

Thanks for visiting, Lisa... Risalenee'

Tuxedo Card

Tuxedo Card.....

Have you ever heard of this?!!?

I guess you only use black and white. On your stamps, stickers and paper... Anything. You know how hard that was to create a card? It was a very new experience that was fun to create.

Again, I just love Gerda Steiner!  I wish she would let me color for her!  :)

My stamped words say it all. "Be your own kind of wonderful." We all know that gnome's have red hats, maybe blue, that's what makes it funny.

Hope you enjoyed my card and maybe you will create on of your own.

Hugs, Lisa

Sleeping Kitty

Hey everybody!!!

This time from Gerda she has a lazy cat digi.

I pulled out a window die I had and a embossing folder with clouds. Then I tried to find normal paper that might look like wallpaper. Put that all together and raise the digi up with double sided foam tape and this is what you get....

I think adding "Thinking of You" adds that special touch with the smile on the cat's face.

Thank you for looking, Lisa

Spring Bunny Friends

Hello again everybody!

Now that we have Valentine's Day over, hope you loved one got you chocolates!!! I was thinking SPRING!!! Those are the words we love to hear when you get many, many inches of snow!!!

Today I have for you Gerda's Spring Bunny Friends. They are so cute you could just jump right in and hug them. :)
https://www.gsd-stamps.com/products/spring-bunny-friends?utm_source=Gerda+Steiner+Designs+Newsletter&utm_campaign=dd7d27f765-EMAIL_CAMPAIGN_2018_02_14&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_d54f8f6140-dd7d27f765-96392745&mc_cid=dd7d27f765&mc_eid=7503684546

I have decided to add tulips to the cute card, because here in Michigan we associate them with Spring.I have also dried embossed them. I found a stencil, or create your own, and I use pastels, or some people call them chalks. Then I added a little drop of glitter glue on each flower to add sparkle.

Hope you enjoy all and until next month...

Sweetest Day

Hey Guys...

Lisa here with another cute card by Gerda Steiner, https://gsd-stamps.com/.

I've decided to create a card for my Hubby. Sweetest Day is right around the corner and silly me, I always give him treats. Then I get yelled at that I'm making him to fat. Well who told him to eat all the candies in one sitting?!?!  haha

I decided to look up Sweetest Day and this is what I found out....

"National Sweetest Day encourages everyone to be generous even in the smallest ways.  From its inception as Candy Day in 1916, this day reminds us that even small tokens improve the lives of those around us who are suffering or going without.  While the day may have begun with candy and sweets, encouraging us to take home sweets to our sweethearts and friends, it is a day full of lessons in persistence, resilience and doing small things in greatly." https://nationaldaycalendar.com/national-sweetest-day-third-saturday-in-october/

Don't forget a Sweetie in your life!

Until next time, Lisa

Sweet Tooth Mouse

Welcome all...

I have another card for you to see. I found the layout on Pinterest. I see I added it to my favorites. https://www.pinterest.com/pin/50102614587753298/

The digi is from Gerda Steiner Designs, she does such a dazzling job!!! You can get yours here...  https://gsd-stamps.com/blogs/news

I know he is called Sweet Tooth Mouse  but you know me, I decided to do something different. I sure hope Gerda likes it.

I thought this mouse looked cute as a Get Well card. I used my yellow glitter glue to make it look like there is chicken noodle soup in the cup. I always use Crayola colored pencils and the paper was from different stacks.

Hope this makes you smile...

"I didn't eat it (yet)! - Birthday Monster

Birthday Card....

I have done something different and Im very proud of it....

GIRL MONSTER

Monster cards are always cute but Im tired of the traditional "boy" monster cards. This day in age boys can like dolls and girls can like monsters. Only if..............

They are not monsters under the bed!!!

Monsters under the bed are way to scary, but this monster is cute. She has a cake waiting for you two to share. How can you be afraid of a monster with a bow on her head?

Thanks for stopping by and hope to see you at one of my holiday shows. Thanks Gerda Steiner Designs for the digi. https://gsd-stamps.com/

1st Communion

Hello, All,

Today I'm showing you the 1st Communion for girls. I have the boys for another day.

I used an normal open and fold cards for these today. The original card, which I get in a pack of 50 from Michael's, is 6.5" x 5". These cards are very handy!!  I have also cut these cards to 5.5" x 5" to create some for the British cards I see in the magazines.

So I have taken a scrap piece of paper, white perfectibility, and I wrap material around it. This time my material is white Taffeta. The soft silkiness makes this card pop out. I have colored the digi stamp with my colored pencils and I added embellishments, and lace, to the cards

The digi stamps are from Di's Digi Stamps, http://www.disdigistamps.com/communion--religious.html. If you have never visited Di's site, your in for a treat.

Thank you for looking and have a wonderful day....  Lisa

Happy Birthday Wendy

Hey Gang,  Lisa Here!

Its the middle of February and I hope you received a Valentine from that special someone.  :)

Today I am showing you a company that I love. A version of the stamps are called Candi Bean http://www.disdigistamps.com/candibean-stamps.html, which I am showing you today, and Di's digi stamps http://www.disdigistamps.com/.

Di, Diane, is so special that I requested a digi and she drew one for me. You can purchase them too. They are under Communion/Religious for my new Communion cards I am selling.

Here is Wendy's Little Darlings, Little Friends. I bought this cute reddish/orangish paper with these little flowers. Can you believe I colored Wendy in orange and bot is she a match! If you look closely you can see a floral punch I have, it added when something was needed. Ribbon was used for the background and two cute ones on the side. This is a birthday card and I cut the sticker in half and placed them on the side. Don't forget the red bling added too.

Thank you for looking and see you next time.

A new year....

Well the month is almost over and I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season!

A few weeks ago my friend got sick, so I decided to create her a card and this is what I send,

The stamp is from Sylvia Zet, http://sylviazet.blogspot.com/, I used ribbon from the local store. Dont know if you can see it from the picture, but it has some glitter in it. Remember we LOVE glitter. The raspberry paper is glued to a normal 5"x 6.5" card but the front, where the image is, stands up and out. Something different and the buyers seem to like it.

This is the only cards I have photographed this year, and I hope you look forward to more coming soon.

Lisa
